St Georges Cricket Club

Welcome to the St Georges Cricket Club website. The club is proud to host 5 Juniors teams, and 4 Senior teams, that compete on in the Birmingham League and the Shropshire League.

Sportsman's Evening

An evening with Merv Hughes former Australian Cricket and Selector for the current Ashes Tour will be held on Tuesday 4th August. Please click here for more details

100 Club

The “100 Club” is to be formed in 2009 and if there is enough support will run annually thereafter. Its objectives are to raise funds for St Georges Cricket Club.  This is an excellent way of helping the Club while having the chance of winning a prize twice a year.

100 Club 50% of all income goes out in 7 prizes ranging from £125 to £12.50, the other 50% goes towards the funding of club projects. For more information, click here.

Volunteer Weekend

Many thanks to all that turned up who assisted on the Volunteer Weekend.  A lot of work was completed such as strimming and mowing the edges of the ground, painting the benches, painting the pavillion changing rooms, and the children did a grand job of raking the outfield and moving the dead leaves, branches, grass and rubbish to skip.
